SCHMITZ medical GmbH, long known as Schmitz u. Soehne, is a German family-owned manufacturer founded in 1930 and managed today by the fourth generation of the Schmitz family. Everything is produced at its two German sites in Wickede (Ruhr) and Boenen and marketed as Made in Germany, with several lines recognized by Red Dot Design Awards.
The operating table range comprises the DIAMOND mobile universal operating table, a Red Dot winner with motorized positioning and high radiolucency for intraoperative imaging, and the OPX mobilis mobile table for outpatient facilities and OR theatres. Around the table, the portfolio covers medi-matic examination and treatment chairs for gynecology, urology and proctology, the Partura delivery bed for obstetrics, STL and STS patient stretchers, and the varimed line of trolleys, couches and theatre furniture in electropolished chromium nickel steel built for cleaning and disinfection.
We supply Schmitz tables, chairs, stretchers and furniture to hospitals and clinics in Mauritius, Seychelles and Madagascar as part of our theatre fit-out projects, with delivery, installation and after-sales service handled by our local team.
