Molnlycke Health Care was founded in 1849 and is headquartered in Gothenburg, Sweden, organised around four business areas: Wound Care, Operating Room Solutions, Gloves and Antiseptics. It is the market leader in advanced wound care dressings, built on Safetac, the soft silicone adhesive technology designed to minimise damage to the wound and skin and reduce pain at dressing removal.
The wound care line spans the Mepilex foam family, Mepitel wound contact layers, antimicrobial and bordered dressings and Granudacyn wound cleansing. In the operating room, Biogel surgical gloves include the Indicator double-gloving puncture indication system, and ProcedurePak customised procedure trays gather every single-use component for a case into one sterile pack, with Molnlycke citing up to a 40 percent reduction in OR preparation time; the company celebrated its 100 millionth tray in 2026.
We distribute Molnlycke dressings, gloves and procedure trays to hospitals and clinics across Mauritius, Seychelles and Madagascar, hold ward and theatre stock through consignment, and back the range with dressing selection and gloving training, including CPD sessions through local accredited providers.
