Kimal

Kimal was founded in 1964 and manufactures over 1 million sterile procedure packs a year in four Class 8 clean rooms, serving hospitals in more than 70 countries under ISO 13485 certification. It launched the first cardiology procedure pack in the UK in the early 1990s and supplies more than 19 clinical areas including cardiology, cardiac surgery, nephrology and radiology.

The Pack+ range covers universal angiography packs and fully customised packs for complex procedures such as TAVI, with selectable components including manifolds, contrast delivery systems, guidewire bowls and radial closure devices. VASPACK vascular access insertion packs standardise Aseptic Non-Touch Technique for CVC, PICC and midline placement, while Kimal's own device lines include Altius central venous catheters with Multi-Tube technology and Kflow Epic short-term haemodialysis catheters.

We bring Kimal to hospitals in Mauritius, Seychelles and Madagascar as the standardisation layer of our cath lab and theatre offer: we help clinical teams specify pack contents around their procedures, then manage supply and replenishment through consignment.
