Interventional cardiovascular and endovascular devices
Cordis was founded in Miami, Florida in 1957 and has been at the heart of cardiovascular innovation for nearly 70 years, introducing CYPHER, the first drug-eluting stent. After periods within Johnson & Johnson and Cardinal Health, Cordis became an independent company again in 2021 and now serves patients in more than 60 countries with over 5,000 employees.
The portfolio is organized around the full cath lab procedure pathway: access, diagnose, intervene, close. Access runs from AVANTI+ and BRITE TIP sheaths to the thin-walled RAIN Sheath, with the RADIAL 360 portfolio covering the complete transradial pathway. Diagnosis is served by INFINITI catheters and EMERALD guidewires, intervention by ADROIT and VISTA BRITE TIP guiding catheters, SABER PTA balloons, S.M.A.R.T. self-expanding stents and the PRECISE PRO RX carotid system, and closure by the MYNX family, EXOSEAL and the ZEPHYR compression band. The MedAlliance acquisition added the SELUTION SLR sirolimus drug-eluting balloon platform.
We supply Cordis devices to cath labs in Mauritius, Seychelles and Madagascar, hold sizes on consignment with expiry rotation, and support radial-first program building with the RADIAL 360 pathway.
