Infusion, surgery, orthopaedics, neurosurgery and dialysis
B. Braun has been family-owned since 1839, when Julius Wilhelm Braun acquired the Rose Pharmacy in Melsungen, Germany. Today it operates through more than 300 subsidiaries in 64 countries, organized into three divisions: Hospital Care for infusion, nutrition and pain therapy, Aesculap for surgery, orthopaedics, spine and neurosurgery, and Avitum for extracorporeal blood treatment.
The portfolio we distribute spans that full breadth. Hospital Care contributes Space infusion pumps and Introcan Safety IV catheters with fully automatic passive needlestick protection. Aesculap, whose surgical instrument heritage in Tuttlingen dates back to 1867, brings the Columbus knee system with over 650,000 implantations in 43 countries, the Ennovate spine platform covering the posterior spine from cervical to sacropelvic, and the YASARGIL aneurysm clip system, the world market leader with over 2 million clips implanted. Avitum adds the Dialog iQ hemodialysis machine and a complete dialysis line. Histoacryl tissue adhesive rounds out wound closure with more than 40 years of clinical experience.
We supply and service B. Braun across Mauritius, Seychelles and Madagascar: theatre and infusion consumables on consignment, orthopaedic and spine implant sets with in-theater support, neurosurgical instrumentation, and dialysis systems maintained by our biomedical engineers.
Everything below is supplied through Medtech and backed by our own engineers, nurses and technicians, with pricing on request.
